I am not really sure how to explain my day today ... it was a good day with friends coming over for a nice BBQ but I just felt out of sorts today. I don't feel bad, but I don't feel happy. I feel like I just can't shake a bad feeling ... don't know why or what but it just is weighing me down. It's been three years this weekend since my best friend was killed in a 4-wheeler accident and I miss her terribly. I am sure that is part of this feeling. I did feel much better and even happy when everyone was here today. It warms my heart to have friends around!!
It rained again today but we had some sun too. The dog pens are looking like mud pits again so we need to get some more shavings to try to get them cleaned up. Okay, not really sure how to make dirt pens "cleaner" but we will try! :o)
We are hoping to get out camping this summer with the first overnight in a few weeks. It will be nice to get away for a night! I sometimes wish we lived off the grid so we didn't have the distraction of TV, computer, phone, etc all of the time. Maybe someday!! :o)
It's suppose to be a long weekend with Memorial Day being tomorrow, but we are thinking we will go in to the shop tomorrow to get some things done that we just can't seem to find the time to do during a regular week. No other employees will be there and the phones should be quiet because most of the clients are closed tomorrow too. It should make for a rather productive short day!!
